Introduction
We undertake research and consultancy activities related to the application of soil, vegetation, climate and environmental data to a wide range of land use and management issues.
Our aim is to provide information and facilitate decision-making by policy makers, scientists and land managers.
This is based on the application of expertise in soil survey, land classification, resource evaluation and environmental monitoring, supported by the unique datasets held at the Institute.
We have a proven track record of providing independent and impartial data, consultancy services and applications to a wide range of clients, including government agencies, commercial companies, estates and private individuals.
